Easy Meditation Techniques is here to help you in mastering this self healing art. Now it is an ancient form of
healing and relatively easy to learn and like anything that is new to you once you get into the hang of things practice makes perfect.
It is quite surprising that a lot of people have never tried it or heard of it. It is usually associated with the eastern countries like Japan and China etc.
Many ancient cultures practiced it and some of those traditions still exist today. Okay I hear you say so what is it and what can it do for you.
Firstly I feel it is similar to self hypnosis, getting into the subconscious part of the mind, allowing the conscious part to rest, it's getting to really know the deeper parts to your existence, that's what I feel anyway.
When you learn the following Easy Meditation Techniques it can help you in lots of ways and the most important one of all is good health. You see a healthy mind equals a healthy body and I truly believe it and it has been proved to me time over. As they say a healthy mind is key to keeping your Body in Balance
I feel there is nothing it can't help you with, but let's look at some things that it can assist with. Relaxation, happiness, more energy, stamina, motivation, stress free living, more ideas when problem solving, clear visions of how you want your life to be and so much more.
So before we go into the Easy Meditation Techniques we need to first look at your environment as in your place of meditation. Now a lot of people like to think about how their meditation room design should be, is there written rules, will one thing be better than an other.
My answer is simple the room should be calming, cosy, safe and secure. It can be whatever design you want it to be because at the end of the day the room design is not what does the meditation it is you.
Personally I think choose the colours you really like and have an affinity with, some colours are cool and some are warm. Some people like to have some sort of statue like Buddha, which is great if it makes you comfortable. Candles are also good, I personally like them as it is soft light.
A candle can be useful for other things as you will learn soon. Now some people like to sit on a chair when doing meditation some people lie on a couch, it is up to you. There is no right and wrong with this the main thing is being comfortable.
You see my aim is always keeping things simple and that is for everything in life not good to go the long way for a short cut, keep it simple. Okay let's look at the first of my Easy Meditation Techniques.
For this we need music, to be comfortable and a candle, mobile phones switched off. So play the music and make yourself comfortable, that's it nice and comfortable and see already you are starting to feel relaxed. If you want to Download Meditation Music then that is a great idea also as there is a great selection these days.
Remember I said a candle was good well here is how to get started, light your candle and place it safely where you can see it, just stare at it, relaxing your eyes, allowing your eyes to gently relax, really stare at the center of the candle and do this for a few minutes, your eyes when you first do this, will get a bit sore and watery but keep with it.
Now this is an important step as it helps to start the process of quitening the mind, controlling the thoughts that keep coming in every second. After staring at the candle just let your eyes close, infact they want to close as it has become to much of an effort to keep them open, closing them is so much easier...
Start to slow down your breathing right down, that's it, nice relaxed and natural. Now just imagine for me now that your body is relaxing into the couch/chair you are lying on. Your limbs are all going limp, like a rag doll. All loose and limp from your toes to your head.
Thoughts will come and go which is okay, this is a natural process, and as soon as the thoughts come in just simply listen to the music, the wonderful relaxing music, allowing you to drift down deeper in to relaxation.
Your body is so relaxed and limp just like it were a ragdoll, imagine that you are lying on a beach, a warm beach under a palm tree, the sun shining, it's such a beautiful day... So as you can see this is an easy exercise to do.
So the main concept of
Easy Meditation Techniques is really keeping things simple like I said earlier. The music, the candle, and the room. When the thoughts come in keep going back to the music, this really does work and get's easy the more you do it and like anything repetition is key to it all.
So the next area to look at is what you want to know, before hand, write down the things that are on your mind, what you need an answer to, or it may be you are feeling unwell. When you have gotten into a relaxed state then in your mind ask your question and wait for an answer and don't give up with this as it will come to you.
Now my belief is the answers to everything we need to know is always inside we just need to find it. Doing these easy meditation techniques will help you a lot, so baby steps first. Practice staring at the candle, then move on to just focusing on the music, then practice the Body Scan Meditation Relaxation by visualising yourself as a rag doll all floppy.
Then put it all together and do it every day, preferably in the morning when you have awoken, as doing it at night you might fall asleep, nothing wrong with that but chances are you will forget what you heard, saw or felt. When you get into your subconscious all senses are heightened.
Wow aren't we really amazing beings, we have so much more to us than we realise we truly do, never doubt this...never. When you look deep inside all the answers are there, they really are. This is a part of you that has always been, we have just got to caught up with other things to access our deep inner wisdom.
Meditation or self hypnosis really helps and knowledge is also great. I personally love reading and we are guided a lot with everything we do, I proved this to myself time and time again.
