Daily Reiki Healing


Doing daily reiki healing is so important for your own physical health and it is so easy to do to. Well at least the way I do it, some other master teachers have a different way to do it, but me being me, I like to keep everything simple, uncluttered and easy, no blocks or obstacles.

The reason for me telling you this is as a Hypnotherapist I also know how powerful the mind is and how making something that is so easy to do, to being so difficult, is of no sense to me whatsoever.

So this page is about my take on how to do a daily reiki healing easily and effortlessly. So before you begin let us set the scene. So find a room in the house that is peaceful and calming and quiet.

Then when you know the room is comfortable then you need to make sure you will not be disturbed, so your mobile is best switched of. It would also be a fantastic idea to have some relaxation music playing softly in the background.

I like to use essential oils as they are healing and soothing also. I tend to use lemongrass and lavender as I like the smell, but you could use what you like as it all is down to personal taste so to speak.

So now you need to make yourself comfortable. Now you could lie on a bed, sit upright on a chair, really it is what makes you feel most comfortable, oh and before I forget it is best to do your daily reiki healing in the morning and then at night before you go to bed.

Okay now I want you to be visualising now for me and the following is the easiest way I feel to do this. So you want to make sure your whole body is relaxed.

Okay what you need to do first is relax your breathing, slow down your breathing right down, and start to relax the muscles on your forehead and face, saying the words relaxed to yourself.

Then you need to start to work your way down the rest of your body so that your whole body is relaxed. A good way to do this is to tense your muscles and then relax them , this will show you the contrast between tensed and relaxed muscles.

You do this from head to toe, taking your time especially when you are starting out. Then once you have done this then we go to the next stage of deep relaxation.

You can focus on a feeling of floating, or a feeling of sinking into the bed, for the sinking into the bed, imagine there are lead weights on your feet, pushing you into the bed or couch, and then start this process up the whole body till it feels sooo heavy and deeply relaxed.

Keep your breathing slow and relaxed and listening to the music, feeling it, getting your breathing into sequence with it. So you will eventually feel as if you are in the room but not as your mind will be else where as in you are entering the subconscious part.

And one last thing to do now that you are feeling sooo deeply relaxed is the following: This is an important part of your daily reiki healing. Now this does require practice and you are doing just fine with this. I know you are okay.

I want you to visualise for me that your Crown Chakra is a lotus flower and the buds are closed. Now with each breath you take as you breath out visualize the bud opening and the petal showing and you repeat this till all the petals are fully open.

Now you are going to visualize a white healing light flooding your body, this is the wonderful healing reiki energy flooding your whole body, keep breathing in and with this you are bringing in the healing light, when you hold your breath you are spreading it round the rest of your body round your chakras etc.

On breathing out you are connecting back to the energy, it is like you are creating a circuit with the energy and using your breathing to do this.

You can ask your Reiki Guides to help heal you of any negative energy that is attached to you. You can also use the Reiki power symbol to heal your energy also. Just go with your inner guidance with this as it is so important for you to do this when doing your daily reiki healing.

I find when I do my Reiki Self Healing I tend to fall asleep, this is absolutely fine as the healing is still taking place. The energy knows exactly what to do for you, plain and simple. When you heal yourself then you can heal others.

Now I guess a good place to send the energy to if you want to focus on deep healing is your heart, the heart holds on to so many emotions and memories, some good, some bad, some happy and some sad. It needs to be healed and full of love.

By healing your heart fully you can then heal others easier, you must be in the state of fully accepting who you are and having 100% unconditional love for yourself.

Once you get into the habit of doing a daily reiki healing it really does keep you balanced, relaxed and happy. You are also protecting yourself from negative energy. Let's face it that is around us all the time.

I love doing a daily reiki healing, I particularly enjoy the different experiences I have and it gives me a great night's sleep.
